rear passenger windows??

the passenger windows on my Tahoe only go about 1/2 way down... is there any way to get them all the way down? is there a child safety switch somewhere? thanks all

wow, this was just asked a few weeks ago and i thought it was silly then. kinda like people have never been around a 4 door car or truck before.

the short rear doors have a cutout for the rear wheel well. theres no room inside for the window to go all the way down...look at the door, its obvious. and its been that way on cars with rear wheel well cutouts since day one. the longer trucks with a straight back edge on the door have room, thus our windows go down.

so that when u roll it up the curved cut out section of glass is above the window belt seal? come on....really????

No theres enough glass. But after looking at it, its not the glass, but more of the Regulator. Wont tell for sure unless door panel is pulled.......wait... the rear windows dont bother me anyways, So i really dont care lol

i'd imagine that if it was possible to make them go down, the General would have done them so. but since its an issue thats been around for oh 30 years or more? then i'd say it is what it is.
