Rear right heated seat inoperative 2005 Denali

Hello—my 2005 Denali’s right rear seat heater is inoperative. All other seats work. The push button’s two lights are always illuminated solid, and flash if pushed.
I pulled and reset the IGN3 fuse with no result.

It's not uncommon for the elements to wear with use and go open-circuit.
Go under the seat and pop the plugs out. Ohm out both the elment and the thermistor with a multi meter. . If it looks good, have someone get in and out of the seat a couple times. If it reads short or open circuit, you've found your issue!

The module for the heated seats is made to detect a short or open immediately. Thats why you are getting flashing lights when trying to turn it on. The module keeps heaters from going into thermal runaway and catching your back or **** on fire! The heating element assemblies can be replaced. You will have to pull the seat covers off to get to the old ones. Tons of youtube videos on how to do this and what all steps are needed to get er done. WINTER IS COMING!
