First to make it easier. I put a 2x6 to hold the seat up. Then get a small screwdriver to undo the clip holding the connections together. It’s just a little clip you got to lift so the connections will come apart.
Thank you, got it. Broke a little plastic, but that's okay. So much more room, wish I did this earlier.

just removed my 2017 rear power seat, very easy to do about 8 bolts & 1 connector.
you gain nearly 5 inches removing this storage and seat crap.
fire the moron that called these fold flat seats.
anyone what to buy a power fold seat, and storage compartment ?! ?

Problem solved. Put seat back in to see if that was the issue. While pugging it in I could hear something hitting floor. Looked under carpet and found a wire unplugged. Looks like it goes to an antenna for the keyless stuff. Looks like a little square box. Plugged it back in and all is good. Took seat back out. I must have unplugged it while pulling on the seat plug in. It’s tied in to the same harness.
