If I wire up a line out converter off the factory subwoofer in the back, am I still using an amped signal from the stock system to send to my aftermarket amp? Anybody know where the factory amp is located for the subwoofer??

It should work. I have a buddy that tapped into factory sub in a acura TL and it worked just fine. I believe the amp is in the center console? I know the factory amp for the door speakers is behind the glove box.

word..I hope so....I wanna keep my stock deck so that my shit doesn't get stolen. I'm just worried about getting any feed back from having it double amped but if it doesn't work, I'll just jump in front of the amp...hope it's under the center console.

thats what i did for my single 12. works just fine.

yea it works great! I just tapped into the accessory for remote, tapped into the incoming speaker line to the sub and ran rca's direct to the amp..only had to hide the 4 guage and remote wires in the door trim which made it nice.

I have 2 Rockford P1 12's and a 760 Pioneer pushing them...weird thing is that the gain on my amp is turned wayy down and it still bumps hard...P1's suck though, I might get some different ones soon...but it hits good for a stock deck...just sucks that I don't have any bass controls...

Make sure to tap into the wires before the amp. The factory amp has crossovers built in. You will want to bypass those by tapping into the input for the amp.
