Rear wiper delete - what do you think?

I would say that the only thing taken off the gate is the wiper, if the applique and license area plate are shaved and made even, it will look wierd.

got rid of the assembly...looks clean...put clear waterproof tape over the holes until i get them filled this weekend...also got an applique from a yukon...getting that painted and installed this weekend also...pics are in my album...check them out and let me know what you think

Not a fan of roll pans on these NNBS's, but the shaved wiper looks good

Here's one of his pictures from his album! I think it ;ooks great Tone!:) what all is involved getting this wiper off and is it hard to do?? Where did you get the tape from?

Seriously took me about 20 minutes...removed inside panel...2 bolts holding the window motor...1 bolt holding the wiper to the motor...came right out...sealed the end of the hose that supplies the water with some zip ties...used regular clear masking tape...it started raining as soon as i got done the removal and is still raining...tape holds up good no leaks...i found a body shop to fill the holes and repaint the area for around 130 bucks...i will definetly post some better pics (and wash the truck) when the holes are filled and the new yukon applique is installed...should look pretty decent...

I deleted those ****** pictures in my album and put two better ones in there...check em out...truck is cleaner too

Yukon applique is painted and installed...as far as the holes, i just bought some plugs from home depot and painted them to match the truck...looks good...i'll put some pics in the album tomorrow...let me know what you think
