can you get a second set of hands and rubber mallet? While holding back the retainer and wiggling the arm and hammering the side of pivot.

I had the wiper arm pulled back and was banging it with the back of the screwdriver but I was worried about the back glass shattering.

I gonna try and bend the red straw thing on the can of WD40 and try to spray some in there. And then try baging it like you said. Hopefully it will come off!
