GM Reman calliper $84 plus a $24 core.

GM rebuild kit $14.36

My rear calliper has a seized piston. I dont know how to remove that either.

If I can get that out than I can look at rebuilding it.

Any tips, tricks, advice?

Thanks.

Yea reman. At least everything is taken apart and fully cleaned so its like new. Personally id go brand new if the price isnt too ridiculous but reman work just fine.

After removing the caliper from the vehicle, blow compressed air into the caliper, through the hole you just took the fitting from. If the piston does not pop out, the cylinder will be scored/pitted, and will require more work than just R&R the seals and boots. Then, think seriously about a reman.
