I ended up ordering a set of gears and it was the wrong size. After that I went to the dealership and they told me the gear kit for my differential was no longer availble. I called 3 techs at 3 different websites...nothing availble. So I gave up and set my truck on fire!!!! just kidding I ordered eaton from JEGS. So we will see how that goes thanks for the advice from everyone.

Eaton? truetrac, locker????

truetrac!!! I just pull the boat and drive downtown when it floods here in charleston. I would have proly went with the locker if I mudded any and if I want to sink more money into my 2500.00 dollar truck. But since it is my third car I have tried not to get bitten by the mod bug.

well I have been happy with my truetrac. Did you have to get different bearings?? when I did mine the inner journal was larger than the stock bearings so the 4x4 shop swap me the bearings from one kit to another( great shop, glad they didn't make me buy to seperate kits)

I will have to see when it comes in I have prepared myself for anything. I pulled off the old bearings and will check it when it comes in. I hope they are the same because I am really tired of my truck sitting on jack stands!!! I will keep you posted. This down time gave me a chance to paint my rear drums and diff cover so I guess it is not all bad. besides I just love looking at my self modded drums!!

Ya that is what I have and had to get bigger than stock bearings. I think they are some bearings for the arb locker that has the same journal size. just talk to where ever your getting the true trac they'll know. but that what happen when I installed mine.
