rebuilding my TBI.. tips?

I own a 93 hoe w a TBI 350 in it... having fuel delivery problems so im rebuilding the throttle body. any tips before i start? i only have a cheap BWD kit because thats all that was readily available to me. the P/N is 12130 i do believe. if anyone has helpful advice, i would appreciate it. if yall want pics let me know and ill post some. i also got some TB cleaner to scrub everything off with. is that okay to do?

Yeah get more tb/carb cleaner like 3 cans and hose that thing down. Take your time and triple check everything going back together and you should be fine. I would do the free TBI mods from thirdgen.org while you are there.

i hosed it down like crazy, went thru two cans almost. but is looking a lot cleaner now. is there any specific way that i should have cleaned the Fuel pressure regulator? i just kinda disassembled it and cleaned it really well then put it back together lol

Unless you were changing the spring to make it higher pressure or converting to adjustable, no.

the reason i cleaned my throttle body is bc when my motor runs really rough my injectors start dumping fuel so i figured maybe my fuel pressure regulator was bad
