the little symbol with the C inside for air recirculation, I have a question about. Now I know the snowflake symbol is for the air conditioning. But if you have the air recirculation on and the snowflake symbol is NOT lit up, will the air conditioning still run? Does this depend on what the temperature is set it?

Here is the reason I ask, I have it set at 60 and just the air recirculation on, and it is cold like air conditioning, so I assume that the air is running, but the snowflake is NOT lit up.

On my Tahoe if you look closely at the snowflake it has a line through it indicating that the a/c is actually off so yours may be the same as mine, therefore when the snowflake is not on the display my a/c is on

Same for me as well. This was an area of huge confusion for me as I assumed the snowflake lit up on the LCD display meant the A/C should be on but in fact there is a line though the snowflake. Also, when I have my A/C cranked, the recirculate function comes on by itself.
