Recommendations for Wheel Spacers?

Wondering if anyone has had any success finding a decent wheel spacer for 2003 Tahoe. I’m looking to get a little better stance on the wheel base.

I ran some 1.5" spacers I got off Amazon for about a year when I had a small lift. Branded "DCUAUTO", $89 in 2017, now $129. I don't tow anything heavy, but I often take corners as fast as possible. I put them on my brother's '05 CC Sierra when I lifted it on slightly larger than stock tires. He drives fast and tows his RZR, 4-wheeler and dirt bikes on a trailer with the bed loaded with camp supplies. Never a problem. Whichever you get, I strongly recommend you get hubcentric. Also, with anything less than 2", maybe 1.75" thick, you might have to trim the tips off your studs, depending on the wheels you have. Just the unthreaded tips, nothing critical.

BORA.

Made in the US. A little pricy, but I feel safe with them having my kid in the car since you sometimes see the Chinese spacers Crack and break apart.

I'll use cheap (hub centric!) spacers on the rear sometimes, but BORA on the front. Always.

I’ve got Amazon specials
Tan em with 22x14s and 37s stacked with a second set of 2” spacers on all 4 corners
Got em on my Tahoe with 24x14s and 35/15.50s
Drive em both like I stole em 90% of the time
No issues


Boras are nice but pricey
I’ve always used Amazon/eBay spacers for the past 10 years

I’ve also used cheap spacers from Amazon on my 96 Silverado 5lug and I’ve overloaded that beds payload more times than I can remember…. No issues.

I wouldn’t push them on anyone but I just commented to share my experience

I run these on my 2004 Tahoe. Gave me the stance I wanted. Torqued to 140 ft-lbs, re- checked after 100ish miles, and they retained the torque settings which gave me confidence.
