The maroon interior doesn't make it look dated, it makes it look classic. It takes me back to riding in my Dad's '76 welding truck. Seriously, I would prefer a black interior had GM offered one, the tan and grey interiors are way too light for a vehicle that goes off road, and the blue is just not my thing, so I think the red is the best of the 4 options.

I have the maroon myself and i'm playing hell trying to find a new driver seat (welded repeatedly i'm just a lardo) and a toneau cover for the rear cargo area (i'm making over the hump sub boxes for each side and i want to be able to hide the project while it's in progress lol) I'm considering getting a sweet set of black leather seats from a NBS 1500 i found today but i'm on the fence about how to mount them. but that's for my own thread no need to hijack this one

No problem. Yeah my seat weld has broke, not to mention now the electric motor is barely working. And I can't find a replacement seat anywhere. I too thought of going to a newer seat, but don't know how to mount and hate cutting and drilling my truck if it has to be done lol

There are a number of threads I've found on the subject but I plan on a slightly different approach. In thinking of making a square ring adapter between the old rails and the new seat
