Found a nice write up - summary- overview on the auto tranny NP8. It does not go into detail that much, but shows functions,
Based on that, I do not see any limitatimg faktor going slow. As lomg as I keep the relativ same engine RPM-speed as in 2Hi-4Hi.
Learned that the reduction is NOT 2:1 but 2.75:1.
Thus, 60-80mph relates to 21-30mph....should be save within those speeds...AS LONG as the tranny shift 1-4
