my guess is there is some compromised clones out there trying to backdoor into the gm servers when they are connected and that's the reason for the error message
that's my educated guess anyway

Awesome! But since they show part numbers for the 2 speed xfer module, possible original 1 speed modules can't be reprogrammed to 2?

But angry because they gotta screw with us little guys trying to program our own modules they made this stupid way..

Ideally, I'd like to get the VIN of a truck with the MP3010 and see what programming options are available to it.

The NP0 wasn't available in 2009 and my other two also have the MP3023.
