+1 for Autopage, especially if you dont want to pay DEI prices. I've used many different autopage units on different cars with no problems. If you compare model to model, Autopage has a direct competitor for just about every DEI model. DEI has had some issues in the past with remotes. Personally I'm afraid to use the pager on my 5902 since I hang my keys (all 12 of them) from a carabiner.

My Autopage has served me fine after all this time. Only problem I've had is the swivel broke off the remote where the key ring attaches to the remote. I replaced it with a ball bearing swivel from my fishing tackle box. Yet, I put the same Autopage alarm on my wife car about 6 months after I installed mine on my Suburban and she has managed to destroy both remotes already. I have the Autpage RS860

I purchased an autostart from my local audio shop. In got the c3-rs-730 with the led remote. It comes with autostart, alarm, keyless entry and just about every other feature and viper or clifford alarm would have. My autopage has a 1/4 mile range which is good for me. Sometimes I want a little more range, but my no means do I require it. I spent 300 on the unit itself, 84 for a required bypass on my foor door, and install price of 230. To bring a grand total of $614 bucks out the bank account. Its all worth it if u got some cash invested into your ride. It was the second large purchase I made for my 98 hoe.

Location is important huh? Where are you located Tiler? What kind of warranty did they offer you? That price is actually around what the RS 915 goes for here in NYC.
