Thinking of putting a remote start in my truck. What kind are is everyong useing. Any brand I should stay away from??

I've got a Viper. Have Compustar in my other car. Both work about the same for me. Get the cheaper/easier/more available one to you. The Viper seems to have a little better range, but it could just be the particular model/years that they came out.

I have heard really good remarks about Crimestopper. I was recomended the SP 500 by an installer/friend. He seems to really like them. Considering getting one soon.
