Remote start?

I just got a 07 Tahoe. Someone ran my vin tort me know what I needed to install some stereo things and I noticed it says remote vehicle starter prep pkg. what dose that mean?

Since no one else will answer you. It means you are partially ready to add a remote start. You have to purchase the new remotes and a module made by gm and go to the dealer to have it programmed. From what I found it was in the $200 ballpark.

You basically need the code number that comes with it. They dealership needs that to activate your truck
