You misunderstood. I can now see why.

My best friend sees 1000s of cars a year and unlike most mechanics that give you the "I've never seen that before" he straight up tells me is there's any report in the TSBs, if there anything like this popping up on their tech talk engineers private forum, of he's heard of anything like it, EVEN WHEN GM HAS A DO NOT ACKNOWLEDGE THIS ISSUE warning to the the techs. He takes the time to really really research it.

I get a real answer. So I had him research it. To see if we can get you a real answer.

Now I'm kinda sorry I wasted his time

Good luck.

Thank you for researching it for me!

Has anyone had the problem when you use the remote start after the first ten min the alarm goes off? 2015 LTZ. The dealer cant figure it out
Have the same problem with my 2015 Yukon XL Denali. If I use the autostart on very cold days with some snow on truck ,alarm goes off. I never went to dealer with the problem because I didn't think they could reproduce the problem. Truck would have had to stay at dealer and only be started on a very cold day first thing in the morning.

I've been using my auto-start since I bought my Yukon new, in Aug, 2015 and never had an issue- I use both the fob (hitting the lock button first to enable it of course) and the OnStar app occasionally (I'm still fascinated with the technology that allows me to start, unlock, trigger my alarm on my truck from literally, anywhere in the world)- Having said that, do you have OnStar? Does it do it when you use the app to start? Or not so much. Just curious-

I would have the battery load tested. I have an alarm issue in the remote start that related to the voltage dropping below 9 during starting the battery. The alarm would assume that the battery was being disconnected. This would only occur when temps were below freezing. Never happened spring, summer or fall.

After some debate and my dealer load testing my battery, they replaced it free outside of warranty. Having said that there seems to be some serious issue with new vehicles and failed Delco batterys up here in Canada during this recent serious cold snap. I dont think they size the batterys for the Yukon in my view 790 amps is not enough for all the electronics. My new battery drops from 12.8 amps cold to 9 on start....just my view but the dealer said they have had massive amounts of failed batteries.
