Hello everyone!
So i recently bought a 1997 gmc yukon that came with an Astrostart j5f-tx2000 remite starter but every function but the remote start works... It seems to start the engine but kill it right away, when i try with the key it obviously turns on without a hitch but the remote starter sesms to shut it off right after it turns it on... Ive got a video of it to see if anyone have seen this issue before. Thank you in advance!

I would see how it is set up to detect RPM or voltage when the engine runs. there must be different setting for you to use. read the manual and figure it out. and before you say you don't have the manual, just look it up online. If you can't find one then your unit is so old they don't support it anymore. Maybe a phone call to them?

I unplugged the remote starter module that came with mine because it started making the panic go off late one night and nothing I did could turn it off. Also it used to lock me out all the time. In my opinion the aftermarket ones just don't work as well as a stock system would. I won't ever be plugging mine back in on my 2004.
