Hey guys.. I installed an amp into my nali the other day and I ended up draining my battery because I had the remote wire connected to the stock amp power wire in the rear left panel on top of the stock sub. So now I'm going to have to run a new remote wire from the amp to my stock deck. Which color wire should I splice into and connect the remote wire too?? Thanks for the help in advance. A wire diagram would be great if anyone has access to that.

Does Your HU not have a remote output wire? If not I would connect it to any accessory wire that turns on when the truck is on. If you don't want to run a wire to the front of the truck pull I would pull the ol' multimeter out and find one in the rear panel.

I know the head unit does, I just dont know the color of the wire and need to find that out. I connected it originally to the amp power wire in the rear panel and that ended up killing my battery because the amp never turned off.

If the amp never turned off then they have the amp hooked up wrong or you accidentally hooked it to the constant wire...odd. The one coming from the HU is the Blue wire. Is your HU an aftermarket or Stock? If it's stock on the Nali, I think it's the pink wire.
