??removal of center console 02 hoe??

Anyone know how invasive it is to remove the center console?

I never removed an 02, but on a 03 I had to remove front seats and lower dash panel/glove box. I would think they are similar.

If it's the 2 piece console that has the front extension you unbolt the extension from the console by removing the drink cubby drawer and removing the bolts? Inside from the extension. Then you unbolt the 8 nuts/bolts from the seat tracks and lift them off the floor which will let you remove the console.(or if you want to remove it from the mounting bracket, just open the console lid and remove the 4 bolts on the floor of the console. That will remove the console from the mounting bracket.) The front extension I believe you remove the "face" to gain access to the bolts holding it in place.(I'm not 100% sure since I don't have that piece.)
