Removal of D Pillar YukonXL

Anyone know how the rear "D" pillars are attached? Trying to determine how to remove them. TIA

i believe there are 3-4 screws.
you may have to move the liftgate strut to get access to some

there is a vid on youtube showing a guy installing esky brake lights on a yukon... shows all the screws & attachment points

Yes, the shiny black plastic (Yukon) above the tails. I'll search for video on YouTube. Thanks.

Pretty sure the esky light install.... is someone replacing failed Yukon Taillights... dealer charges $700.00 per tail light and they apparently fail at around the 1.5 to 2 yrs mark. spread the word... these aren't covered once your warranty goes out. People are going to get screwed on this - it needs to be known that GM is gouging customers with faulty product that should in fact be recalled.
