So I have a 2002 Yukon SLT with the cassette deck in the lower area of the console.. I know there is a replacement "cuddy" that you can put in there if you remove the player..

Anyone know of the P/N for this part?

Cameron, I had this stock in my 01 Tahoe. I think in 03 they did away with it... New updated center console/cup holder/dash with Auto AC, etc.

glad i could help... guess the only difference between the two is the gm one has the fuzzy stuff inside... i like my metra one tho... thats where i hid my blue stinger voltmeter so it doesnt blind people but at the same time i can still see the reflection of the numbers so i dont have to lean over to actually read it...

I have the Metra version. The GM version fits better around the opening. But for $10, I'm not complaining.

Connect an aux to old tape deck?

Is it possible to connect an aux in cable where the tape deck is now? Could I disconnect wiring to deck and hook it up with an aux in cable and then ultimately play my ipod thru the tape feature? Please let me know if anyone has any idea about this!
