remove woodgrain overlay from trim?

I dont mind the wood grain, if it actually looked like wood grain. Wat they have going is like and inbread version of marble/wood grain.

I saw a 2013 350 powerstroke, thats wat i like when your talking wood grain. Looked good, just not a fan of fords.
