I'm long term planning on removing the body from the fame to allow me to fully clean and paint the frame, replace brake lines...possibly to and engine swap and replace the transmission. I know a lot of that could be done without pulling the body from frame...but want to clean, treat and paint the entire underside of the body as well.

I have started a checklist
1Hood
2Headlights
3Grill
4front bumper
5left fender
6steering
7fuse box
8right fender
9shift cable
10body mounts
11fuel fill tube
12spare tire
13ground strap
14tail lights
15ac
16rear bumper

Is there anything I'm missing? I know I can take the doors and rear hatch off to make body lighter....

Actually, easiest to remove the master cylinder from the hydroboost.
Detach coolant lines from heater core.

I'm been taking apart a very rusted Yukon and am planning on pulling the frame out from under the body. I have the body up, checking on what I need to still disconnect....

Wiring harness at the firewall
Undo the brake booster from the firewall
Spare tire shouldn't matter I believe? Same for bumpers.

You are correct about the bumpers.
It is hard to get at the body mounts on the cross member in the rear with spare tire in place.

I have a Yukon I am stripping, for the transmission, LQ4, and Denali woodgrain trim...so am doing a practice run...

I have done everything on the checklist and have lifted the body about 6 inches off the frame... But ran out of time to make sure I hadn't missed anything yet.

I think I forgot emergency brake and heater core connections at the firewall.

But I took my "practice" run with my 2003 Yukon Denali parts car.

It came apart fairly easily.. and I could probably put it back together again, if I needed to.

Vehcor on youtube has several videos on frame swaps with GMT800 and a GMT900. They are at least 4-5 years old if memory serves, the one with the 900 covers several videos and is more detailed. Look for a black and red Yukon.
