How much of a pain in the ass is it to take off the front bumper on an 08 Yukon? I went to Tampa today, from Miami, and there were bugs up the ying yang.. I've been wanting to paint the front bumper and this seems like a good time to do it.. Pics were taken when I got to Tampa.. Thanks for any help.

If its anything like a Tahoe, its not too bad. Take your time, it does take a little while to get it off bc there are so many screws but its not bad. Go slow and remember where everything goes so reinstall goes smooth and quick. Good luck!

Any tricks on the Tahoe removal? Sorry to thread-jack but I need to remove mine and was curious how long it will take or if there any surprises.

I did it with no instructions at all. I just took off the obvious screws holding it on, then pulled on it a little to figure out where the hidden ones were. The hardest ones to get to are the ones inside the bumper in the fender well. Turn the wheel out of the way, take off all of the screws holding on the fender lining. There are 2 screws that are awkward to get to where the bumper meets the fender. All in all it was easy, just take your time.
