yeah, the main goal is the mileage... I'd like to get back to the O.E. spec diameter which is basically 30.5x9.5... right now I'm runnin' 305/55r20's which is basically 33x12's.

31's wouldn't be too bad either... I just want to get away from the 33's and even the massive width... stopping this thing isn't real great with the current tire size and stock brakes either.

I had an '88 Sierra with 255/60's and the thing would lock up the wheels... this thing won't even make the ABS kick in, let alone lock up the front.

Well, thanks for the input guys. Just traded it today for a Jeep Grand Cherokee... perfect size for my wife.

I'll keep checkin' back in though. Still love these trucks. Just not the right time for one right now, I guess.

I'd like to get a '02 2500 HD duramax quad cab one day... but again... not the right time.
