So I finally got my hatch glass swapped. Put some JB weld on the hinges of the replacement hatch to keep them from separating. Painted the third tail light base. Come out really good. Decided to paint the trim around the glass too. Came out a little rough as my masking job covered a few spots. But oh well. I like the look. Though I may sand the paint off the trim since it’s not perfect. But for now I don’t have to worry about my glass breaking because of the separated hinge. Here’s a few pics before the swap, separating hinge and the paint gone bad on the base cuz the shop did a crappy job on it:

Now that I’ve had the both types of glass on my truck, I actually really like the older style with the trim around the glass. I like the handle for the glass integrated into the trim, below the glass, rather then a small plastic handle bolted through the glass on the 2005/2006 style hatch, which my truck had when I bought it before the esky hatch swap. I actually still have the factory hatch. Just sitting here taking up space in my apartment... lol @Rocket Man , wish you’d have told me you were looking for the 2005/2006 style YUKON hatch. I’d have GIVEN you mine! Lol
