Hello -

I have a 2005 Yukon Denali, I have the third row removed because I have a permanent audio system installed that takes up that space. With the third row gone, that only leaves me 4 seats in the truck, because the second row are just two bucket seats.

Is there a place I can buy a bench seat for the second row? It seems like I have seen Tahoe's about the same year with the bench in the second row, and was wondering if I could maybe pick one of those up and put it in it's place?

Anyone done this before?

Most people go the opposite way--replace the bench with captains chairs. You should have no problem finding someone that wants to trade.

Ha! That's not a bad idea but I have a 2002 and my bench is not in great shape. Have you checked a yard near you?

When I swapped mine I found one that was in great shape in the wrecking yard. I didn't care for the buckets either. Mine came out of a Suburban, so I can't say if a Tahoe unit will work or not. Be sure you get all the plastic pieces around the bottom, seat belts, etc., because none of the bucket seat pieces will work. It's an easy bolt in swap.

What color interior? my bench is nearly pristine in the lighter shale color. I'm in Florida, but I have vacation coming up and was supposed to head towards virginia to visit family.
