Replace radio with screen?

I put a double din in my 99. Had to get a new dash panel and I had to trim some plastic inside the din area. Hear is the finished product.

Was the effort worth it? Are you liking the finished product? I’m just now starting to research these for my sled.

late but posting for people who might be curious in the future:

i have a single din screen installed on my rig. honestly depends on what you are looking for. although, mine was stolen a couple weeks ago so im replacing it with something more boring. but once im in a nicer area ill definitely be adding the carplay style radio again.
