Replace the stock sub?

lol the hole back there makes it seem like it should be a ten but ya its almost an 8 i measured and it came out a lil smaller than most that ive seen.

You have to add an amp if you are upgradeing your existing sub those things are garbage.What iam triing to do is build a similar box size and shape which has been an adventure becuase i need it out of the way due to kids and wife use it so i put in dvd player in dash then i put in new amp it would not run the sub i dont know why i think it might be lack of power but anyhow im working on it as we speak so hopefully it will work out i did do a bench test and it finally worked with more power.
