Replaced the Brake Light Switch and the Cruise Control still shuts itself off.

Hey all,

My 2010 Hoe is having the issue of the cruise control disengaging (like you tapped the brakes). Hitting the resume and she picks up where she left off.

I replaced the brake light switch and that was not the fix.

NO LED Brake lights in the mix but it does have LED reverse and DRLs.

Any ideas on what to check next?

Thanks!

wheelspin will also cancel the cruise according to owners manual.. in addition to pressing the cruise set and cancel buttons.

Did you use the GM switch or an aftermarket one? If the latter, use the former.

It was supposed to be GM OEM but the coloring was different?
I've had RockAuto send me incorrect parts before so perhaps I will try another.

Thanks!

ironically, I also recently replaced the passenger front ABS sensor, too.

The ABS code reader I have called that one out after Traction Control and StabiliTrak errors.

If you're tracking, I found this:

"movable pedal assy is known to have chaffing concern on harness. Move pedals back and forth to see if can induce. If so tape up harness at chaffed area"

I'll definitely look into this possibility.
