What all modules and wiring harnesses are needed to swap to a aftermarket head unit in a 2015 Yukon? It has the IO5 8" with non navigation radio in it now. I have been using a ipad as the head unit with a Pure I20 dock with the optical out going to a Audison Bite One. It sounds fine but was wanting to change out the radio. Thanks for any help in advance.

Alpine restyle is not compatible with the newer SUV's. I tried replacing the factory radio in my wife's Suburban awhile back and was not very successful. It depends on what you have for equipment. Do you have the factory amplified system? If you do you'll have to wire around the amplifier. I didn't learn that til after I started the process and it wasn't something I was willing to do at the time. Otherwise I would go with the iDatalink Maestro. Does the best job of integrating everything and working with an aftermarket radio.

Hey hahler2! Have you checked out the iDatalink Maestro RR recently? I was looking at their online guide and they now have instructions that show you how to instal it with and without an amplified system. Just curious if iDataLink figured out a workaround. Checkout their user guide.

This is one of the best iPad docks I've seen.
But if you wanted to replace the radio I would spend the money on the Alpine restyle. Not sure if it's just for the pick ups or if it would fit in the SUVs also.

If I could swap out my CUE system for this I would in a heartbeat!

Do you know if the scosche product will work on a 17 suburban with the screen the slides up and down

Thanks

Alpine is the best in this segment. I have an Alpine setup in my 2002 Denali and it's solid. Only thing that blows is you can't upgrade the navigation maps any more but it's good.

I can't wait to see what they come up with GEN4 (I refuse to use the NNBS and other acronyms cause they're stupid). I hope it intergrates all the other functions like the stock head unit or is DOA for me.
