Does used radio from wrecked Tahoe needs programing to work in my car. My existing radio has issue with touch screen

that's kind of a trick question, if you are just swapping out the assembly with the touchscreen and hvac controls it might just be a straight swap (maybe)
I just replaced the touchscreen on the wife's radio last week, the lcd screen was $60 with the digitizer and it took about an hour. or so.
normally the parts that get reprogrammed are the hmi or radio module, so not sure if any of the "interface assembly" are coded to the vin or not.
