The guy has several $150 listings for OEM versions on ebay now. Search for Escalade Rear Spolier.

I just received one today. it's in near perfect condition. Bolted up in ten mins.

I don't see why people get replicas went that guy on eBay sells oem ones for 150 shipped. I've bought two oem ones for that price.

Does anyone know the name of the seller that was selling The OEM 3rd light for this cheap so i can watch for them?

Thanks!!

Yes. They suck. They warp

Good thing I found this thread. I've had my G5 tails in for a few months and I'm ready to add the Esky 3rd. Had I not seen this thread I would've purchased the replica 3rd from Revotec on eBay. I also purchased my G5's from him.

I see that you guys are saying that these replica's are warping due to heat. All the OEM Esky's on eBay seem to be listed around the $350 mark, so I'm wondering if its possible to buy the $150 rep from Revotec and then just replace the light/lense itself with an OEM part. Pricing it out on eBay looks like I could do this for much less than the $350 it would run me for a complete OEM unit and also avoid the warping issues. Does anyone know if the replica spoiler will accept an OEM light/lense without modification?

If not, I'll just have to bite the bullet and spend the big bucks on a complete assembly and then have it repainted.

The actual light isn't the problem, they are fine. There have been some reports of the spoiler/housing warping.

Mine came out of the box very warped. Use some heat on it, and it will re-form to where it needs to be. Had mine for almost 2 years, no issues. Cant beat $150.

Oh, that's crazy. I assumed it was the light that was warping, not the spoiler/housing. They must be very thin housings.

I was considering buying one, but now I'm not so sure. There are two OEM Esky spoiler's on eBay right now without the lights in them for decent prices, so maybe I'll just buy one and install a new light in it myself since I have access to brand new factory replacements for a decent price.
