dude nice denali. these are great. i think im going to do another and final retro i got it all planned out. u think these projectors can take 50w hid?

Thanks. It really came out well. It's hard to get pictures to do the output justice. I'm sure they can take higher wattage HID, but the TSX projectors are designed for 35w, so who knows. It wouldn't damage it, but might lose some of the definition on the cutoff.

I'm not sure if I like the new front-end or not:

since it already had projectors did you have to drill anymore holes or anything? if so which route did you go? the bolts and nuts or L brackets and stuff?

Once we got the DEPO projectors out, it took a little bit of shaving down the whole bracket to fit the TSX. Didn't have to drill or cut into the housing itself at all. The TSX fit right in, and we clamped it down using over-size head screws in the original projector holes. Bondo'd up the whole thing to seal it and hold it good, then put JB Weld on top of that. These aren't ever coming off again....lol.

Contact Matt at http://store.theretrofitsource.com/index.php for the parts. They aren't cheap, but if you get several things for a build he'll discount it lower then the prices on the website.

Nah, didn't do the color mod. They have a decent bit of color anyway. TSX's are sort of known for their "flicker." But I was more interested in maximum output. I went 4300K because that's the highest lumen output color. Would it look cool with a little bluer tint? Sure, but that wasn't my goal. ;)

Next up is doing HID's in the fogs. I'll just do a PNP kit for that to keep things easy and cost down. Just have to decide if I want to color match or go yellow (it actually does get foggy here occasionally, and they are also good for driving in heavy snow.)
