Can anyone tell me why some Tahoes sit more level than others? My LTZ sits higher in the rear than the front. I often see other LTZ's that appear to be more level than mine. I like many on here obviously want it to be more level than it currently is and get pissed when I see one that is more level than mine.

Any thoughts? or fixes? The old body style allowed you to crank the torsion bars to help bring the front end up. Now I would need to buy a leveling kit and wish I could just get it to look like many of the more level stock ones I see.

thanks
mike

Yeah its your eyes, all Tahoes from 07-Up are atleast 2" higher in the rear, yours is prob. 2.5" higher.
You can either buy a leveling kit for the front (About $200 installed) and bring the front up 2", or you can lower the rear 2" for about $250.
Keep in mind if you lower the rear only 2", under heavier loads, or after like a year or two, the rear will be lower than the back by a small amount (less than .75"), this is due to normal spring sag..

Also, it looks much better to have a slight rake than a slight cali lean in my opinion.

Conor, are those the stock rims for the 2007's? Or specific for the Z71's?

Mine suck, those would look good powder coated black. And cheaper than American Racing.
