So basically anything is better than the Bridgestones? Mine are SHOT at 34k miles... Mostly highway mileage; insides are very worn but the tread is to the replacement indicators. I pointed out the uneven wear on my last services and since I had only had it 7k miles, the service manager attempted to pawn it off as the tires had never been rotated. I put a perfectly good rear tire up front and its now worse than the one that was up front previously. I do a lot of highway driving in the heat in Texas. What would you all recommend I argue with the dealership they replace my tires with at a severe discount?

If tires are wearing unevenly (you claim inside edge wear) then you likely have an alignment issue. If it was inner and outer edge wear, it'd likely be under-inflation.

I just switched to nitto s420 size 285/45/22 so far they are great.... the ride is very smooth and handles great in wet conditions... also good in the snow... I have about 6500 miles on them.... I'm just worried about thread life. I picked nitto over Michelin because they were less expensive and were rated just as good as the Michelin

Over the past 20 years I have run thru 6: sets of Michelin LTX M/S tires on 6: different SUV's and Pickups. With proper inflation and alignment I averaged 100K plus miles on each set. In my opinion...that version of the Michelin is the best tire that you can by for all season performance on a full size SUV or pickup.

When I replace the Continentals on my Yukon (which at 17K miles are doing a surprisingly good job) it will be with the Michelin LTX A/T. A set of 4: now runs just shy of $900 out the door mounted and balanced on sale at Costco.

My tires were doing the same thing--along with feathering. My alignment was off from the factory. Got it aligned and wears like a champ now.
