Right and wrong way to leave in neutral at car wash?

GM added a safety feature where the truck will go into park if it starts moving with the door open (happens in Drive and Reverse as well as neutral). That is likely the issue they were running into. My Jeep SRT did the same thing. It was actually quite annoying.

You can turn this feature off in the settings. Did it myself as soon as I took delivery of the yukon.

If i had this feature in my 16 canyon it would have saved me a new rear drivers side door. My oldest forgot something in the house as wew ere getting ready to leave and he went back inside and i didnt realise he didnt close the door so i sbacked out of garage and nearly toor the door off the truck. 3k later it was replaced..
