I'm currently running 265/70R16 on a stock suspension. When I look at my rig, I'd like to fill the wheel wells up better....tire just seems too small to me.
With that in mind, I like the look of "thick" sidewalls so going low profile it out of the question. I'm also not looking for big grabbers either.
Other then price, what are some of the negative aspects of going with a bigger 17 or 18" rim? How many mpg am I slicing off by going bigger?
Does anyone have photos of their rigs with 17's or 18's? I have dedicated winter tires on 16" rims and since 98% of my driving is highway, i was hoping to find summer performance tires in a 275/70R17 but no luck
Any recommendations guys or photos you can share???
