I will try to talk to my daughter about how she deserves better but I know I have to be careful to not make her cling to him even more. Even her bff’s boyfriend can’t stand him. I’m helping that guy get into an apprenticeship and we talk a bit. My daughters bf can’t even hold my wash pole to wash their cars, he holds it worse than a girl. He can’t use a single tool, doesn’t care to. Just wants to walk around inside a movie theater. So when she asked me about helping her bf get into an apprenticeship it was a quick conversation. No chance. The dude would be eaten alive by real men. He plays Yu-Gi-Oh, builds those anime models and has them all over the place, watches Japanese anime tv shows and movies, etc. He the total opposite of what I thought she would end up with. Oh, and he’s a total mommy’s boy. He does whatever she wants. Watches their dogs or house constantly. He even let his mom decide what car to buy- ended up with a brand new Toyota Corolla even though he wanted a used car so he has $500 a month car payments and an ugly ass car that he immediately smashed the side of by merging into the wheel of a semi truck. And he’s 25 ****** years old, doing what momma says.

nope, adios.... you want to know what I would do? well I will tell you anyway lol, every thing that belonged to him would be packed up in boxes by the front door, I have done it before, it's rather relaxing after that. Don't feel bad, sometimes people need a dose of reality.

Sounds like my daughters “father”. A total loser. Unfortunately it’s not until a real life responsibility comes along before the woman sees their uselessness. Hope that doesn’t happen.

I think I have maybe collected 2-weeks of unemployment in my entire life, always had some kind of hustle since about 6th grade. I couldn't live off of unemployment. lol even though some of that involved illegal substances. I started making my own written yardwork signs in the 6th grade and handed them out all over my neighborhood and little old lady's pay cash!

So I have a non-vehicle question I’d like to throw at you guys. My daughter, long story, lives with me. She has always been full of drive and is a nurses assistant who also is going to school to be a practical nurse. Her loser boyfriend has zero drive and was an assistant manager at a movie theater until Covid. He’s been unemployed for 7 months, waiting for his minimum wage job to open up. I let him move in rent free 8 months ago. So we have both been home for months. I am thinking about retiring. Anyway...the dude has a bunch of obnoxious habits. One is he mumbles to my daughter when we are in the same room. She can be right next to him and has to ask “what” over and over. I have asked him to speak up. He says he doesn’t know if he can. He leaves dishes in the sink. Same thing, he says he will try. Still does it occasionally. Leaves empty drink containers around. Same thing. He has always played PS3 with headphones on but he does it in the living room, I’m in the Great Room and rarely ever heard him. But after my last conversation with him about the fact this is my house and he should be considerate of whether he’s doing shit that would bother me, it seems like he has decided to start talking louder and walking around the house while playing and talking, like I’m not even here. So today I told him there will be nobody talking on headphones in the house unless they’re behind closed doors. He got pissy, said he couldn’t talk to his team mate unless he did do I told him he would have to do it in the bedroom. Then I tried to explain to him that he is living in my house and that after our last convo he should be trying to not be obnoxious to the me since it’s my house. He told me he didn’t know why I was still talking so I told him he needed to move out. Dude just totally pisses me off on a daily basis and doesn’t seem to respect me or the fact he’s saving $1500 a month. Which btw he only makes $900 in unemployment. He’s gonna move in with his parents who btw charge him rent. Am I wrong to want him out?
