Being a former motorcyclists, i find a boat is a close second to the experience of a motorcycle.

The best = airplane
But those have too many costs associated to ownership.
My dad used to fly small planes. His last was a Cessna 210. I looked into learning to fly awhile back and decided it’s got too expensive for me to justify it.

I decided to not buy a boat right now, I let the guy know. I had planned on going up on tomorrow and look at it. But I’m super undecided on what type of boat I want. I’m torn between a fast boat like that one or a more comfortable boat with a swim platform and open bow. I just sold my bike and I need to not be in a hurry. Plus right now my attention needs to be on my home projects. I have 3 days of no rain so I’m tearing off my chimney framing and hopefully installing the other sliding door. My back yard looks like my house exploded. I’m about 3 hours in and so far so good. I’ll feel better when the upper section is gone down to the roof.

I just made a deal on this boat for $10,500. It has a freshly built 489 4 bolt bbc with wiseco pistons, eagle rods, **** crank, forged internals, Manley stainless valves, comp cam, 3/8 pushrods, Crower stainless rockers, dart intake 1050 dominator, new msd ignition, 10 qt pan etc. He wanted $12k. I just need a break in the rain, it’s 3 hours away and I don’t want to drive in the rain on the freeway with it that far. I got the chimney off down to the roof which was my goal for the day. That was the hard part hopefully. I had to get it to where I could get a tarp over it. It might still rain a bit tonight.

Yep but I have a rule- bikes or boats is unavoidable for the most part.

I think you'll be better off with a bow rider IMHO. Easier to launch, room for the doggie or any bishes that want to tag along. Nice blow through to keep the family jewels cooled off. Cheap bimini top off amazon too. I prefer outboards to inboards. But I know you like your big blocks/noise/showcasing LOL.

If I go with a bowrider I’ll get an I/O.
