I ordered a new engine splash shield ( skid plate kinda) to replace my broken one but I bought the front snd I need the rear. I can’t find the p/n for the rear though. @915_Tahoe can you see if you can find it.? Here’s the new front one, and a pic of the rear one on the truck. Last 9 of the VIN is 12J105097.

I never knew there was a rear shield. When the kid worked on mine he stripped 2 of those damn bolts holding the front shield in. Unreal. What did the front run you?

I never knew there was a rear shield. When the kid worked on mine he stripped 2 of those damn bolts holding the front shield in. Unreal. What did the front run you?

$35 shipped. I stripped two of those holes the bolts go into, probably from using my impact too hard. I just added two smaller ones right next to them, 13mm bolt heads instead of the 15mm. I had to drill and then tap the threads.

Meh. It’s fixed good enough for a splash shield. I don’t want to do a bunch of sanding and filling to make it look perfect. It’ll have to do.

Yep it came out alright. That leading edge is pretty well hidden, it’s GTG!

It’s a miracle- the parking brakes work for the first time since I’ve owned the truck, maybe since new. The adjusters were both ******* all the way in and one was stuck pretty good. I freed them up and used that measurement tool to adjust the shoes. It worked pretty good but I had to adjust them in a bit more in order to get the rotor on. It saved me a bit of time. No grinding and everything works. I also pressure washed the rear with Super Clean and followed up with CG Undercarriage Treatment that @Sam Harris turned me onto.
