Well I guess I’ll have the guy that backed into me pay to repaint the bed and fix the wheel wells where I rolled the fenders and caused done minor damage. I swear I barely drive this thing, grocery shopping is about all. That’s where it happened, but at least I was in the truck AND he has insurance. It was a Russian man in his 60’s and he did not want to give me his insurance because he had no damage. I called the police and was waiting on hold when he finally gave me his info. I’ve already had my friend who owns a body shop look at it and give the insurance an estimate. Now it’s wait and see.

Some pics of my backyard after I finished the paver patio, pergola and pond and then tried my hand at concrete stain. It all came out super nice. It’s really nice to hang out there and chill with my koi and my best buddy. The house has two sliding glass doors that open into the patios that wrap around the back of the house so I can listen to music or watch tv on my giant screen from outside. The great room is all windows and glass doors that look out onto the new areas. I always wanted my house to feel like it’s indoor/outdoor in the nice weather, one that blends the two. I accomplished that. I need to do a complete planting scheme in the spring to complete the look but in reality it will be years after that before everything grows in. And I’ll have to replace the lawn with a smaller prettier version. Overall it was a really productive summer around the house. The trucks did what they’re supposed to do. The Beast did some super work hauling tons of dirt. I excavated by hand for about 2 months and hauled the dirt and rocks away. Anyway now I gotta get some maintenance and bodywork done on them. It’s been a real nice last couple three months, fall has been sunny and 70/75.

I finally got a call from Progressive last week and they determined he was 100% at fault even though he claimed we both backed into each other. My pictures and the damage on my truck combined with no damage to his bumper sealed it. I dropped the truck at my friend Jim’s body shop yesterday. He will spray the entire bed for me and remove the tiny dents around the wheel well where I rolled the fender and messed it up. So it will work out good for me to get the dents around both wheel wells dealt with at no cost to me. I’m dealing with some health issues right now but hope to be on the mend soon. Kinda miss the guys on the forum.
