I have an 02' Yukon and was looking at putting a roll pan on it. I have been looking at the street scene urethane roll pan, but have some questions. Some customer reviews I read on the site said the edges didn't fit right. I was wondering if people could please give me their opinions on this roll pan or if they suggest another roll pan. Was wondering how well this bolted up also? Thank you all in advance for any advice or suggestions you have.

I went with the fiberglass pan. I do however prefer looks of the street scene.
Fitment was ok defiantly a tight squeeze. It was nice not having to worry about paint due to complete paint. I did add some supports in the center to really support while flipping plate to access hitch. Had to drill holes to mount license plate and cut hitch hole out as well

I'm interested in this mod. I have a 2005 Denali xl.

the problem I'm having is finding a shop to do it. been calling around and either there to busy with insurance work or they've had problems with past custom work they don't want to do it.

I live in Chicago

My experience with roll pans and with all polyurethane and fiberglass parts in general is that you get what u paid for. None of them will ever fit perfectly and will always need some kind of modification. That could be simple smoothing out or worse to cutting/trimming edges and/or adding more when it comes to fiberglass. With polyurethane parts it's a plastic part so u should always be aware or warping and cracking. Polyurethane can be fixed with compounds like jbweld and others but takes a lot of work most of the time not worth it. Try and buy from reputable sources or look into facing something urself. Most people do their own roll pans with metal sheeting and welding. Depending where u live u can some times find fab shops that have done roll pans and make then look better than anything u can buy aftermarket.

The fiberglass definitely needs some extra muting points to avoid flexing I added a bracket behind plate and 2 additional mounts below plate. I am also running a flip up plate to access hitch. If you are able mount it bring it to a shop let them work they all need body work. We have painted a dozen or so steel pane only ever required body work ones a show quality build. Will fitting usually a Seco d set of hands and painters tape around adjacent panels help avoid other damage. No reason they can't paint them sometimes walking in the door with parts will change there mind. Around here I would guess between 150 to 300 for paint depending on quality of material and if they do anything besides paint

ya that seems outrageous even if they were pulling the bumper and hitch. Did they buy chance think they were gonna have to blend the quarters or hatch?

ill be honest with you, from someone who use to paint for a living 1k is about what I would charge as well. the reason being is I don't want my name on anything that doesn't look the best it can. with a roll pan on over 90% of cars over 2 years old I would blend the rear panels and the tail gate. :2cents:

no sir. he literally just threw a number out there without knowing the details.

I'm just looking for a shop in Chicago that is skilled enough to get it done. I'd rather go with a steel pan
