My Z71 didn’t come with one, but I like the thought of being able to hide what I’ve got in back from prying eyes. I don’t see it offered in the Chevrolet accessories web site. Anyone know if they’re available to purchase? I’d prefer OEM, but I’ll go aftermarket if necessary.
I believe I found the gm# for the cargo shade, if you could provide me with the last 8 of your vin#.

My 2006 had one originally when it was sold new but didn’t have it when I bought. I scored and found a guy selling three on Craigslist and I scooped up the tan one that he had that matched my interior. It’s always mounted in my truck. It never gets used when my detailing gear is in, which is like 95% of the time, but when the gear isn’t and I have stuff back there I love pulling the shade closed. It’s not often it gets used but I’m glad that I have one.

I have one for my 2012 Yukon SLE and it is very easy to use, it's just like a window shade only it's on its side. I just picked up a 70" TV and loaded it in the back, with the seats down, and it just pops out as one side is spring loaded. Put it on top of the TV and home I went. Got home, unloaded and popped it back in. No sweat! I like it as it keeps the looky loos at bay, even with tinted windows you can still see in the vehicle. I never could find one for my 1999 Tahoe 5.7 4WD LT, even from the dealer and after market places. It has the same mounting holes as my Yukon does, so someone must make them...But who? Good luck in your search. BTW, I got mine from the local GMC Dealership parts department. It was around $95. I got the Cargo Net Gate too. It comes in handy too and it's around $45.
