I'm going on what a guy said from SafeLite because my front windshield leaks like mofo when the truck is at an angle. Been doing it for years but I mostly park on flat surfaces. Has anyone ever heard of such a thing? He says a roof rack bolt might have rotted and it leaks through there but I only get wet spots near the window but he didn't see anything. I love how they emphasis on its 10 years old it might be rust.... people got no idea. Any Input before I start to test it, it's been raining up here like on and off and cold weather. Jersey sucks.

My wife's 02 Tahoe had rust under the roof rack it was cross threaded. In bolt and check. have you ever replaced the windshield? If so if its a Chinese one its probably to blame. They aren't shaped perfect and allow water to Stay in and along the the metal frame that supports the windshield and will cause It to rust out. I had the roof rack shaved and the cancer cut out and metal plates welded in place and painted over looks really good. Check the roof rack bolts and let us know also pull it up and look between roof rack and the roof.

I see your point, I had the window replaced twice if I remember correctly, It wasn't my truck when it was done it was my dad's. It has been leaking for years. Unfortunately it started to rain here, again, so now I have to wait. When your wife's leaked did the headliner get wet or is there a plastic liner behind it?

It was the back right corner of cargo area and front left near driver side pillar. Yeas headliner was soggy in little spot.

It started leaking after two hours driving to the beach in heavy rain (like 2 months ago but I have been offline for awhile..) two drops.. either I'm crazy, which I am, or I'm crazy. I will silicone it myself this time I got this. But it doesn't leak like a MOFOin waterfall! :challenge:
