I have read the PIT 5429 that appears here on The Forum.
The build date of my 2015 Tahoe LTZ was 14 Feb. 2015--just past the cut off date of 10 Feb.
From the SPID--
NHT--Max. trailering package.
Z82--Trailering equipment
Z95--Magnetic ride control--Yes. I double checked that one.
6YR--Front left computer controlled shock
7YR--Front right computer controlled shock
I am unable to locate or decode the RPO for either the left or right rear shock.
Installed shocks--I got under the Tahoe and looked--
Front left and right--GM part number--22300918
Rear left and right--GM part number--22298572.
I am unable to decode those GM part numbers--unable to locate them anyplace on the web.
Questions--
What do those GM part numbers decode to?
Are the installed shocks the proper ones for vehicles built after 10 Feb. 2015?
What shocks should be on the Tahoe?
Basically the dealer answered my write up requesting a harsh/rough ride evaluation was answered--
"does not apply"
Thank you!
Bob
