Compression test would have shown that. I let the gauge sit for a minute and each cylinder held pressure. Even a tiny leak wouldn't have held pressure. Doesn't take much of a leak at all to lose pressure.

Bringing the Yukon back to the shop next Wednesday. He's gonna do a crank relearn with his Tech II. Then I'll re-evaluate.

I've cheacked for vacuum leaks and I've had a shop check too. Haven't done a smoke test tho.

Either that or I have a wiring/ground/ECM issue. Hoping its something similar but it might be a PITA to find it.

Yukon is at the shop today. Waiting to hear once he does the crank relearn. I asked him about a smoke test too. Not sure if he'll also have time to do a smoke test today but we'll see.

its just a shot in the dark but do you have an aftermarket intake if you do put the factory intake back on see if it fixes it ive seen on occasian aftermarket intakes causing idling issues

So picked up the Yukon. Mechanic did a crank relearn and checked all the fuel trims with his Tech II. Drove a half mile down the street and the same damn misfire/shudder is going on. It did nothing. He said "I need to drive to for the weekend".

I have an airaid intake tube with the factory air box and a Fram filter. I don't have the factory air intake tube. I tossed it. Put this intake tube on last September. Didn't have this shudder/misfire until February/March.
