The magic box has a USB drive to connect for movies, hdmi output and turns the front CarPlay into a android with the play store. It is pretty neat also if you don't have wireless CarPlay or AA it makes it wireless too. I like that it comes with a keyboard remote.
I'm curious how the device is set up. I see that it has USB and HDMI. So is it possible to use both at the same time? As in, could I use the USB connection to take over the infotainment screen, control the video selection from the front seat and output the video to the rear screens via HDMI?

I bought an HDMI media player off Amazon plugged into the HDMI and household style outlet. It have a USB for a memory card.

Within the player it has settings to auto play where it left off automatically when power is restored. So all I have to do up front is turn the screen on and make sure its on the correct HDMI and my kids just have to turn on their headphones.

To get to the next movie I have to use the remote which is a little annoying and point it at the player blindly hoping it works.

Like everyone else i miss my old system, but the new Yukon is overall much better.

My latest struggle is having the headphones connect properly on a consistent basis. Sometimes it's quiet in the backseat and other times I hear whining that the headphones won't connect.
